What is oncology massage?

Oncology massage is the modification of massage techniques based on a framework of clinical considerations in order to work safely and effectively. Oncology massage trained therapist is able to provide a massage session appropriately adjusted for the needs of a client with cancer or a history of cancer. Essential aspects of an oncology massage therapists skill set are an informed understanding of the pathophysiology of cancer, the side effects of cancer treatments, such as medications, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.

Your initial session will be 90 min, you will be asked to fill the intake form and then we go over together to make sure if I have any further questions before the session. Normal session is 60 min.
